STEM Gifts for Girls

Hey, Goddesses! In 2020 I’m embracing STEM and hands on gift for my daughter. STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics. It is a field that women, espcially black women, have been under represented in and one of my jobs as a mother is to make sure that my little girl wins!

  1. Elf on the Shelf Pets

The Elf on the Shelf is the gift that keeps on giving. Looking at Pinterest, I believe parents are having more fun with posing the Elf on the shelf than their kids are finding where the little mischievous elf flies to in the morning after visiting Santa. If you’re like me you may forget to remind your little Elf to move. If you haven’t gotten one for your little it is just another fun tradition that they’ll remember forever.

  1. Kinetic Sand

My girl loves hands on activities. With kinetic sand our girls can build, mold, and play as much as their creativity allows. It’s magic sand that sticks to itself and not all to hands!Kinetic sand

  1. Candy Land Game By Hasbro

This class game will never get old. Your girl can play the same game you enjoyed with the whole family.

More STEM fun for your little engineer. As a teacher and a mommy I love helping my daughter explore her STEM side. This Lego Disney Frozen II set is awesome because they get to build their own jewelry box. They get to practice following directions and having fun at the same time and in the end they end up with a product they love.
