Hello, Goddesses. So I was asked to review the MerMuu sleep sack by Hello More Store.  I was nervous about it because baby Cairo usually just sleeps in just a onesie, and he hasn’t been in a sleep sack since he was a newborn. I remember those newborn sleep sacks being difficult to put on and remove when it was time for changes. Eventually, I was like forget it.

Immediately upon receiving the MerMuu, I loved how well it was made, and how it was not one whole suit that I have to put his arms in and wrap around here and velcro there. It was super easy to put him in. The MerMuu fits simply around baby’s waist. The design makes it super simple to remove and slip back on for late night changes.

Because Cairo is 10 months and is super active, I didn’t know how he would react to a sleep sack, but he actually didn’t mind it at all. He was snug and comfy. The first night, I put it on him when he was ready to go to sleep and I nursed him until he was out. His arms were free, which is great because who wants to eat with their hands confined. (He likes to stroke my face and sometimes boobies while he eats). I didn’t have to worry about whether or not he was warm and covered up because the MerMuu stayed put even though he can be a wiggle worm in his sleep.

Mommies the MerMuu is for ages 0 to 12 months. You simply unzip the sack and secure the elastic band around your baby’s waist with the snaps. Then you zip the front of the sack and confirm that you can fit 3 fingers between the band the baby’s waist and boom you’re done. This is important to me because I can never find my glasses at night so I virtually blind during those middle of the night changes, so I need simplicity.

This is the perfect baby shower gift for expecting moms because it will continue to grow with the baby. Wouldn’t this be perfect for a new mama to have in her freezing hospital room… or was that only at my hospital.
