Hey, Goddesses. Have you heard or read about Hygge (pronounced Hoo-ga)? If you’re on Pinterest, you can’t miss it. It is a hot trend home decor and cozy living particularly, during the winter. It is a Danish way of life that focuses on warmth, comfort, and family. Think Pottery Barn or a cabin in the Appalachian Mountains or even Hogwarts in winter. Muted colors, fur or faux fur, lights, fire, and lots of love.

I absolutely love Hygge because it encourages one to turn off the electronics and be present and gully into those around you. Who doesn’t need that these days? Of course, I’m obsessed with the beautiful and warm atmosphere created in a Hygge space. It reminds of this beautiful bed and breakfast my husband and I stayed in the mountains of Virginia. There was no tv, just new friends,  a roaring fire, and apple waffles and local sausages. It was intimate. It was actually my favorite vacation to date.
