I am so excited. I love February for many reasons: My birthday, Black History Month, the chance of snow days, and of course Valentine’s Day. And although I am grateful for all Valentine’s Day Gifts, I’m a grown woman and sometimes my husband needs a little boost in what I want. These gifts are sure to put a smile on your lady’s face. I polled some goddesses to see what they would want from their hubby’s and boyfriends for Valentine’s Day.

1. Time alone. No, you can’t buy this one, but this was a recurring theme in the answers I got. Especially from the moms out there. And they want real time alone. Like out of the house. Spa day. No phone calls. No worries about the kids. Guys, you will be the real MVP if you pull this off.

2. A well planned out date that she hasn’t been on before. Think your local botanical garden, one of the local sip and paint venues, an escape room, a romantic picnic.

3. Create an atmosphere of opulence. Hire a chef to cook a lovely meal in your kitchen. Hire a makeup artist to do her make up before your amazing date. TIP: Try searching Facebook. Search MUA (makeup artist) + your city.

5. Have chocolate covered strawberries or a bouquet of flowers delivered to her job. Ladies love this, fellas.
