OMG! The capsule wardrobe relieved so much stress in my life. My daughter’s clothes situation is out of control. She has so many clothes, but get this… nothing seems to match, especially on those mornings when I didn’t plan out her outfit the day before. The equation didn’t add up so I decided to try building a capsule wardrobe, with hopes to create a capsule wardrobe for myself in the future. While binge pinning on minimalism (I am nowhere near a minimalist, but it is an aspiration of mine), I came across capsule wardrobes. The intent is to buy pieces that you can mix and match with all other pieces or most other pieces, therefore creating a ton of outfits.
Capsule wardrobes save time, money, and force you to be creative. In fact, I’ve come up with more outfits with less clothes. It’s amazing. What is also amazing, is living a more intentional life. I buy her clothes less often but when I do, I buy pieces with her complete wardrobe in mind. I fully consider how many options I have before purchasing. Consuming less is also great for the environment.
Tip: Buy pieces that are of the best quality. You will probably be washing clothes more often with a capsule wardrobe, so you want fabrics that won’t fade, shrink or lose shape.

This is such a helpful post! 🙂
While I just have two boys, I find buying pieces and thinking about how they will work with existing ones is such an important part of shopping for anyone! 🙂 And this capsule wardrobe would work nicely for any woman as well as your daughter, haha! It’s very stylish 🙂
Hope you are having a lovely weekend 🙂
