Oh My God. I love being a girl and I really love being a black girl. I also am obsessed looking at African and African American Influencers creating astounding content. From black female travel bloggers, to black business bloggers, black bloggers are killin’ it and what better way to view their content in one place than on Instagram.
Melanin against brilliant pops of color or even in stark contrast to a brilliant white backdrop. I cannot get enough. You must know, however, while these women are uber glamorous and their blogging has taken them to magnificent locations and afforded them immensely and swoon-worthy opportunities, these women are working their behinds off in order to bring us incredible content that we can devour. They’ve designed their best lives and are striving for even more. They are truly inspiring.
I love her brown skin and how it pops in her photos. Ijeoma’s style and photos are beautiful, but what I love most about her is her giving spirit. Ijeoma openly shares secrets to help you create amazing photos in her story highlights. She’s helped me a lot when it comes to figuring VSCO and Snapseed methods for creating cohesive and gorgeous photos.
Janea is beautiful, vulnerable, and the interior of her home is spectacular. I love when her photos pop up on my instagram.
I love Sade’s boldness. Her confidence is palpable and lovely. I love her unique sense of style. And I love her in a suit.
Micaela is beauty goals, fashion goals, she and bae are couple goals, and how she quit her job and worked her ass off and created an amazing career for herself is life goals.
Veronica Bonilla, a.k.a. Brooklyn Petite, is petite but she packs a punch. Her fashion sense is everything.
Dayna’s skin is incredible!!! Her destination photos make me swoon, and her style speaks to my higher self. I was honored to hear her speak at #Blogher18. She’s simply brilliant.
I love adore fro, her face, her skin, her travels, her body, and her amazing feed!
I’m infatuated with Yolande’s feed, her face, her style, her photography greatness!
Paola “Pao Pao” Mathé is a mother, creative director, fashion blogger, entrepreneur, and founder of @fanmdhjanm. She is also and very often my #wcw. I love her stories and I love how she loves her daughter Zuli.
Folasade is an amazing creative entrepreneur who celebrates her beauty on her marvelous brilliant feed. I love watching her werk it!
Lauren and Merlyn make up this cute and creative duo called bklynmavens. They are your go to girls for everything Brooklyn. They are so lovely. I heart their feed. Be sure to check out their upcoming events.
Her outfits are simply divine and inspire me to step up my game. Her name reminds us that style is a frame of mind and how powerful it is to match your styled mind with your physical style.
From cute baby vibes from her son to luxurious vacations and style. I absolutely love Dana’s feed and stories. She is definitely #mommygoals. She makes motherhood look good.
I love the beauty and luxurious style of Jeneé Marie’s feed but I also love her story highlights where she keeps it real about how she obtains her luxury pieces. I truly appreciate that and can’t wait to get on her level. #levelup
Sunitav is a super cute and amazingly talented blogger and her hair is so fierce. I love everything about her.
Another flawless feed. Monroe’s style is incredibly colorful, unique, and simple screams, stylish woman. Each picture reminds us to explore our worlds for amazing backdrops and colorful interior.
Sherita is working with amazing brands, giving us amazing luxury vacation envy, her beauty and style is incredible, and she teaches us how to cook and be financially mindful on her blog Busy Wife Busy Life.
Of course I had to add myself, because why not. If you haven’t followed me on Instagram, I’d love to see you there. I’m a mommy blogger, teacher, and CEO of my my own business at Luxor Ridge Social Media Agency.
If you have not experienced the incredibleness that is @colormecourtney, run don’t walk and follow her. She is the essence of branding done right. I had the honor of watching her speak at Blogger18 and I was blown away by her confidence. She is the it girl that brands go to for color point blank and the period. Her feed is so fab, goddesses. Seriously. Even my mom, who knows nothing about blogging or instagram knew who Courtney was from a commercial. Incredible. Check out her quote for bloggers here.
What fabulous African, Afro-Carribean, or African American Influencer is missing from my list? Let me know in the comments.
